Turbogenerator
The Turbogenerator is a key component of our electric turbocompounding system. It is placed on the exhaust of a Diesel reciprocating engines turbocharger providing additional electrical power.
The Turbogenerator consists of a high efficiency turbine wheel directly connected to a high speed permanent magnet generator. Bowman presently have designs for two Turbogenerators one at 40kWe and the second at 60kWe. Bowman also have plans to develop a 100kWe unit.
